Better business planning with OMP 360° Analytics

To successfully integrate business planning, successful supply chain executives must be aware of the complete sales initiative portfolio. But how is it possible to get extended visibility on all business dimensions and at different granularities, and fully understand the sales teams’ insights and proposals? The labs demo illustrates the potential and possibilities of 360° Analytics in business planning.

How synchronizing S&OP and S&OE makes supply chains more resilient

In today’s challenging market, successful supply chain executives make their supply chain more agile and resilient. How can they also make decision-making cycles shorter and handle increasing uncertainty? OMP facilitates a planning process that is synchronized, automated, and optimal, with minimal user intervention, and supporting effective decision-making at the pertinent planning level. The demonstration illustrates how integrating S&OE process with operational planning and S&OP supports seamless and collaborative decision-making.

*This demo will be available on-demand

Smart data management and cloud integration

OMP invests extensively in advanced cloud integration solutions, recognizing every customer’s need for data exchange that’s robust. We demonstrate how the cloud integrates seamlessly with SAP S4/HANA and discuss its capabilities in relation to other systems within the broader enterprise. Since building and maintaining a digital twin requires more than real-time integration, part of this demo will also take a deeper dive into the extended portfolio of smart data functionalities where data from a range of sources can be managed, enriched, cleaned up, and synthesized.

How explainable AI supercharges demand sensing capabilities

Augmenting human intelligence with explainable AI based on machine learning can lead to superior results when making demand and forecast adjustments. Deep learning is a type of machine learning that uses multiple layers to progressively extract higher-level features from simple raw input. Deep analytics are sophisticated data processing techniques used to yield information from multi-source data sets involving precisely targeted queries, often giving real-time responses. The demonstration illustrates how OMP leverages deep learning models to uncover insights that are otherwise impossible to detect.

Advanced, multi-echelon inventory optimization

Short-term planning decisions, such as making a temporary switch to subcontractors to cover a forecasted market spike, can lead to undesired effects on inventory. How can this be avoided? Effective planners close the loop between inventory optimization and S&OP and time-phase future inventory policies. The demo presents a range of advanced inventory optimization use cases. It discusses the key functionalities available in OMP.
